I’ve thought long and hard about this, and I’ve decided to follow the lead of ROL on this. As of now, I’m changing Heroes Inc. over to a completely drawn comic series. I feel that this comic has reached a point where the sprite comic medium is just too constricting for my storytelling needs. I’m going to continue the same plotline (unlike ROL) and hopefully now be able to give much more character to my characters.
Also, I will be posting the pencil work for each new comic as a voting incentive, starting with today’s:
Vote at TWC to see Comic 0377 pencil art!
I know this may upset some of the more hardcore sprite fans, but if you enjoy the comic for more than just the sprites, I hope you’ll welcome the change.

I’m inclined to believe it’s an April fool’s joke, since it is on April 1st. Another sprite comic I read did this exact thing on April Fool’s.

Just as an interesting side note, there’s another comic on the intrawebz calling itself Heroes Inc., which is a drawn comic about superheroes past their prime. You might want to talk to the comic owner about that, Mr. Robert

Well I know there’s a good chance this is a joke but I’d like to say that I think it would be interesting to see it drawn.

I really don’t care if it’s a joke or not. The story is interesting, so if he has switched to pencils, rather than sprites, then by all means, go for it. As long as he keeps updating, I won’t complain.

I kinda didn’t expect this to go on as a hand-drawn comic from now on, but whether it’s an April fools joke or not, you do as you please. The story is still charming enough to maintain my interests.

Come on, man! Sprites were the bomb! How could you do that?!
April 2nd, 2009 at 4:38 pm
Well, at least your drawing is better than the drawn stuff on B&G.

Your drawing is good, but I think Heroes Inc would be better as a sprite comic.
Pleaseeeeee make it a sprite comic. ;_;
